Harvest is Near: A Message to the HNS Community

Let's focus. I want us to be focused in the here and the now. Through our individuality, now is the time to do what we can to maximize growth and adoption.

This writing isn't focusing on personal riches, but on us a community. You should be holding long-term due to your belief in the vision of what's possible: HNS is a decentralized replacement for ICANN and certificate authorities. The names itself are vehicles of freedom and swords of liberty.

Let's focus. I want us to be focused in the here and the now. Through our individuality, now is the time to do what we can to maximize growth and adoption. 

Below was my first ever post on Twitter (X), at the end of 2020: “Praise those who believe before seeing.”

And my last post on X signified that we must all do our part as a community. Action follows faith.

The seed must be sowed before the harvest. Over the past few years, the community has toiled over the soil. I say to water the plants a little longer; let the roots become more firmly established. It's all about timing and the time is near. It's difficult to grow a field of crops in the Winter. But Spring is here in front of us. The work that we do now will be worth 100-fold what it was worth one year ago.

Opportunities will be abound. Let all those that have eyes to see and ears to listen know the truth. It is self-evident that Handshake will be in a place it has never been before within the next year. But we must not sit on our hands expecting our neighbor to handle everything. We must stand up and shake hands with newcomers and veteran community members alike.

While building is important, and hats off to our developers, I'm asking everyone reading to do what you can, what you are gifted in, to help HNS succeed. It could be as simple as engaging with communities who are open to the possibilities of Handshake.

If you see a spark, help ignite the fire. I promise there will be a lot of sparks. We must feed the flame through our passion and engagement.

There are many of us, myself included, where words of HNS have fallen on deaf ears. We must remember that there will be a time, similar to Bitcoin, where family, friends, and commercial players will become curious on what Handshake is and why it benefits them.

For those disenfranchised, for those affected by government and big tech censorship, for like-minded communities, for innovators and entrepreneurs, let's spread the word like a wildfire. Let's meet them where they are. Remember, all wildfires start with an initial small flame.

At the outset in 2020, I stated that I had a 10-year commitment to this project. We must have a low-time preference. HNS is a teacher; I've learned about love and patience to name a few. I believe the harvest is coming soon. Rest and eat well tonight. For we need each other out in the field tomorrow, just a bit longer, watering the plants and toiling the soil. Harvest is near.
